Now serving the Danville, VA area! (Register Now, Beginning June 1st, 2012, Lock in Discounted Rate For A Year)
Introducing a new service coming soon to the Danville, VA area. A new service to the area, but not new to childcare.
As an experienced nanny, I see first hand the difficulties parents have when it comes to hiring great nannies or sitters for their children while they are at work and are unable to care for their children themselves. It is not easy locate a great nanny that you feel confident in. Once you do hire, locating proper back-ups many times is another stressful and more difficult task.
Even if back-ups are sought out, many times caretakers will not be interested in “on-call” or “back-up” positions. Why? Well, caretakers, must earn enough income to make a decent living like everyone else. This means that accepting the job of occasional work is for the most part not feasible to say the least. Even if a backup sitter is found, she or he will always be looking for a full-time position. Thus once again, the parent is left without a reliable backup.
Another common problem when it comes to childcare is that many, not all, but many caretakers see this type of work as not a real job and one that they can cancel at anytime for any reason and it should not be an issue for the parents. In reality, it is more important for caretakers to be more reliable than in most lines of work. Lets face it, parents are not a business. They cannot just rearrange employees to cover the caretakers absence.
So what do you do? This is where 911 Back-up Nanny comes into play.
